Serving the entire county of Monroe, MI, and the surrounding areas, Erik Stein is an active member of his community and the legal profession. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Bachelor's degree in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy from Michigan State University. Additionally, he obtained his JD from the University of Toledo College of Law with a certification in environmental law.

While attending law school, Mr. Stein distinguished himself as the chairperson of The University of Toledo’s Moot Court Team. In addition to being inducted as a member of the Order of the Barrister for outstanding oral advocacy skills, Mr. Stein has also received numerous awards for his work as a student and involvement in community service.
Mr. Stein has been admitted to practice in the State of Michigan, the Northern District of Ohio and the Eastern District of Michigan. He is a member of the Michigan Bar Association, Monroe County Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association.
Erik enjoys in his spare time camping, hiking, kayaking, photography, MSU sports, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his wife, Shelby.
